The i40 is a 25 ppm Duplex (Portrait) color scanner with a 50 page Automatic Document Feeder and a new special document / ID card feeder. This new ID card feeder allows the operator to hand feed documents and cards (i.e. identification cards, insurance cards, driver's licenses and other documents of this type) by accepting and returning them at the front of the scanner providing greater ease of use, productivity and space savings.

The advanced image processing features of the i40 delivers exceptional image quality, productivity, and ease of use for customers in small offices or small-group applications within large organizations. The i40 allows for the capture of documents in Color, Bi-tonal or Grayscale. The ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) handles a wide range of document sizes and types with ease.
