TypeReader 6.0 offers added flexibility to handle color and
grayscale images, with duplex scanning support to process
documents in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese,
Spanish, Dutch, Danish, and Swedish. It employs an
unparalleled recognition technology to support 2618 fonts, and
LizardTech’s Djvutm format.

More languages
TypeReader Pro 6.0 now supports the recognition of Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, and Swedish as
well as English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
Advanced Batch processing (only available in Enterprise edition)
TypeReader allows users to acquire multiple image files, specify a method of locating and
recognizing, specify saving options and saving destination and complete the OCR process
without any user intervention.
A batch log file has been added to indicate the status of the batch processing, including
whether a page has been successfully processed or not. If the batch process is terminated
unexpectedly, it can be resumed next time by selecting Batch processing once TypeReader is
restarted.
Table detection/operation
TypeReader Pro 6.0 can automatically detect a boxed table region. You can also manually
create a table region, add/remove grid lines, and split/merge table cell(s). The table information
will be reserved in the exported file in RTF or Microsoft Word format.
PDF export (only available in Enterprise Edition)
TypeReader Enterprise 6.0 can export an unlimited number of recognized pages to PDF Normal,
PDF Image with hidden text and PDF Image only.
TypeReader has a number of options you can choose from when deciding how to proof your
document within TypeReader. You can view suspect or illegible characters, misspelled words,
whole lines of text at a time, alphanumeric words, numbers, symbols, punctuation, or various
combinations of these. You can also change the point size of each character and perform
on-screen proofing on characters with small point size or very large point size.
TWAIN compatible scanners
TypeReader works with all TWAIN compatible scanners. Now you can scan multiple pages
through ADF and have the option to turn off the TWAIN interface by de-selecting "Show UI"
option.
