The SmartLF Cx+ 40 is a hard-working, robust and reliable high volume / production scanner, an improved new version of Colortrac's biggest selling large format scanner, the SmartLF Cx 40.
Quite simply, the reason for the SmartLF Cx 40 popularity has been its ability to reliably handle the demanding scanning and scan-to-copy applications that professionals need. Its enduring popularity is based on proven CIS technology, efficiency of operation, practical scanning speed, high quality images and powerful but easy-to-use scanning software.
Based on customer feedback, the new and improved SmartLF Cx+ 40 continues to provide fast, high quality scans, copies or e-distribution of wide format maps, site plans, engineering drawings, blueprints, architectural renderings and many other technical documents.
Most importantly, its proven straight-through media path accepts technical documents and maps up to 0.08" (2 mm) thick, (thicker than the SmartLF Ci Series of technical document scanners), and more than enough to meet every AEC, CAD, GIS, Copyshop or service bureau scanning requirement on flexible media.
The SmartLF Cx+ 40 has a 40" (101.6cm) image width with a maximum media width of 44" (111.8cm), enough to accept A0, E and ARCH-E-size documents. With 600dpi high optical resolution and 3600 maximum (interpolated) resolution, 48-bit color data capture and advanced 2+4 all-wheel-drive 'Active Paper Transport' (APT) system, it ideally suits the practical needs of demanding high volume scanning professionals.
With 600dpi true optical resolution, high quality Contact Image Sensors (CIS), the SmartLF Cx+ series meets the needs of AEC, CAD, GIS and scanning professionals in any size of enterprise who need fast, high quality monochrome and grayscale scans. Two cost-effective SmartLF Cx+ 40 color models offer a choice of fast or express scanning speeds. Both have Colortrac's best-in-class CIS color image quality built-in. |

All Colortrac SmartLF large format scanners come with SmartWorks EZ software, Windows Image Acquisition interface (WIA/STI), and Scanner utility software included.
- SmartWorks EZ software is very simple to use and designed for operation by non-specialist users. Choose your preferred method of controlling the SmartLF scanner with either keyboard, mouse or touch-screen modes, while providing all the basic scan to file and scan to copy functionality you need. SmartWorks EZ software saves your scanned documents as PDF, TIFF or JPG files individually or as a batch, and makes document copies to any printer through standard Windows printer drivers.
