 The Colortrac is another brand of wide format scanners but this one is made in England. The camera's they use are CIS type and will only scan paper or mylar but not thick material. The SmartLF Ci 24 is a fast, accurate and affordable 24" technical document scanner offering easy,face-up,instant-ondesktop scanning and copying to any workstation or printer across a network.
Fitting easily onto a desktop or wall shelf, the super small SmartLF Ci 24 large format scanner offers professional A1 or D size scan and print productivity at the touch of a button.
Supplied with SmartWorks EZ monochrome, grayscale or color scan and copy software, you can quickly and easily scan to file, email (PDF) or any printer.The Ci 24's high definition optical resolution will capture the finest details of all your technical drawings and maps with an unrivalled combination of sharpness, accuracy and bright colours.
CIS technology uses compact, lightweight components that have good tolerance to vibration. The Ci 24 weightsjust36lbs(16.3 kg) which makes it easily portable. It is compact and lightweight enoughto use on a desk or table top without afloorstand.
The SmartLF Ci 24's front paper exit removes the need that other scanners have for space at the back to accomodate rear-exiting media. As a result, the SmartLF Ci 24 and its bigger brother the Ci 40 are the only scanners that can be placed flushagainst the wall or on shelves, thereby maximising the use of available office space.
This makes the Ci 24 ideal for smaller workspaces.

All Colortrac SmartLF large format scanners come with SmartWorks EZ software, Windows Image Acquisition interface (WIA/STI), and Scanner utility software included.
- SmartWorks EZ software is very simple to use and designed for operation by non-specialist users. Choose your preferred method of controlling the SmartLF scanner with either keyboard, mouse or touch-screen modes, while providing all the basic scan to file and scan to copy functionality you need. SmartWorks EZ software saves your scanned documents as PDF, TIFF or JPG files individually or as a batch, and makes document copies to any printer through standard Windows printer drivers.
